Pick any one of the Finger Lakes and a trip around it would be well worth the ride. In addition, most of the clubs listed above have either maps or descriptions of popular local rides. Finally, other highways and byways can provide you with a scenic trip, you just need to get out and explore, join a club, or sign up for a guided tour.

¶ The Northern Tier Bike Route is a cross-country route running from Bar Harbor, Maine to Anacortes, Washington. In the process, the route crosses through the northern section of the Finger Lakes, skirting along Lake Ontario and incorporating a portion of the Erie Canal Trail.
